Let me introduce our team…
-they are Jesus lovers, cheerful givers, humble helpers, faithful prayer warriors, consistent friends, loving family, encouraging supporters, ministry partners.
-they are learning about Romania, anticipating God’s work in the life of all those involved with this mission, hearing about the life of the gypsies, sharing their hearts for the gospel to go forth, exploring how God wants them to be involved in this ministry, loving people all around them, and asking about the life and culture in Romania.
-they are giving of their time, praying with us and for us, asking challenging questions, helping us physically, supporting us financially, sharing wonderful advice, processing all the emotions with us, and loving us so well!
-they are single ladies in various stages of life, married couples with grown kids, newly weds or young marrieds, growing families, single guys of all ages, and even young children.
Even without faces and names, you get an idea of who this group is. We would not be able to do the mission God has called us to without this group! The team forming around us is invaluable to the ministry happening in Romania. We are eager to partner with all of them as we are sent out from this place to share the gospel in a drastically different context. This group will uphold us in the weary times ahead and rejoice with us in the moments of bliss! This group will challenge us and encourage us. This group will remind us of truth and ask us the hard questions. This group will pray and support. I’m humbled by the love and support that has already come from this group. And we look forward to the relationships and stories that will be transformed within this group and because of this group… all to the glory of God!
Our Prayer for Us
We are all in this together… We pray the Lord would be transforming our hearts to be more like his. We pray this team would experience the work of the Spirit in our lives. We pray each of us would understand and apply the truth of Scripture. We pray we would all trust God’s grace and peace. We pray this group would be bold in proclaiming the gospel to those around them. We pray this team would value prayer and fellowship with other believers. We pray each of us will repent and believe in Jesus. We pray this group will worship the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray we would all glorify God.
Grateful. Thankful. Appreciative. Humbled. Joyful. Thank you for everything. For your generosity, your genuine interest, your faithfulness, your humility, your loving kindness to our family. We are so grateful and know we would not be here without each of you. What a joy to partner with you in the advancement of the gospel. Thank you for the opportunity to serve alongside you!
“We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints, because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel, which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth… And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
Colossians 1:3-6, 9-14
